TEDxDoncaster

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

TEDx Doncaster brings together thinkers, innovators, doers, and pioneers who are changing the world through their work. TEDx Doncaster offers a platform to access knowledge and shared learning, projecting forward the best in innovation and advancements Doncaster has to offer for all.

TEDxDoncaster Youth is coming 26th April 2020 10am -16:30pm. The venue is CAST in Doncaster.

The year 2020 proposes to be a year of unprecedented change both in terms of technology and humankind. To bring a positive outcome we must develop a clear vision.

“20/20 Vision” aims to encourage and facilitate ideas that have the power to change, connecting possibilities to the human desire of clarity focusing on what we want our society to look like in the immediate and near future.

This year we are delighted to welcome Alexandra and Luke as our cohosts and a host of inspirational young people.
