In Autumn 2025, I was commissioned to document the dynamic outdoor performance of KAFAK at Cast Theatre, Doncaster. Tasked with capturing the essence and energy of this unique production, I immersed myself in the vibrant atmosphere that unfolded beyond the traditional stage. My role was to creatively document each moment through photography, preserving both the artistry of the performers and the engagement of the audience in an open-air setting. KAFAK, with its innovative approach to outdoor theatre, provided a rich visual landscape for storytelling—allowing me as a photographer to showcase Doncaster’s creative community in action. This project represents a captivating intersection of performance and photographic narrative, celebrating live arts in the heart of the city.
