RIDE!

A family struggles to survive in a world that keeps knocking them back. This show is a high-energy feast of music, rap, dance and theatre. Big Deli and a host of Bradford rappers feature. A story rooted in real-life experiences is being created for Bradford 2025 with Gypsy and Traveller communities as well as the people of BD4.

It receives its world premiere at the TFD Centre in Holme Wood in September. RIDE! It’s all about not giving in when the chips are down. It’s about about belonging and making your mark, and it’s about anyone who’s been judged for all the wrong reasons. It’s inclusive and family-friendly as it comes. Are you ready to RIDE? RIDE! Spin Arts teamed up with Leeds Gypsy and Traveller Exchange (Leeds GATE) with members of Leeds GATE for this project. Southpaw Dance Company is the director of this project.
