The Photography Challenge Book
Photography improves through doing. This book gives you 89 prompts, organised as a 7-day sprint, a 30-day challenge and a 52-week year of practice, to build the habit of looking deliberately rather than photographing by accident.
The Photography Challenge Book is built around the annual #30Frames community challenge, which runs each October. Whether you join the community or work through it privately, each day's prompt comes with a technique to focus on and a question to ask yourself afterwards.
Every prompt works on any camera: a phone, a dedicated DSLR or mirrorless, a film camera. The book does not teach equipment. It teaches the thing equipment cannot: where to stand, when to stop, what to leave out, and how to look at what you made.
